Kazakhstan Pres: Calling For Global Currency

Kazakhstan President, Nursultan Nazarbayev is urging World Leaders to consider the creation of a single global currency, as a solution to the global economy.
Nazarbayev believes that one of the reasons for the ongoing economic crisis is due to the imperfections of the global currency system. He is hoping to push this agenda all the way to the G7, G20 summits that will be meeting between now and April to take up the issue.

Presidential Election Roast 08'

The Presidential Candidates took a night off from the campaign trail to share some laughs at the Annual Al Smith Event.

With all the negativity surrounding the election , this couldn't have come at a better time.
It was so refreshing to see the two let there guards down and put there difference aside. I have been following this election rather closely and this was the first time for me I saw the candidates for who they are......not the policies or parties they push!

McCain brought the house down. Among his collages McCain is known to be quite the funny man and McCain certainly was able to back that sentiment up last night. There was no where McCain was afraid to go. I laughed non stop. If this was to be a debate, McCain would have won by a long shot!!! He may be old, but the dude still knows how to have a good time!

As for Obama he held he's own. Obama unlike McCain, is not known for his sense of humor. However we saw a side of Obama that we don't get to see every day. He was relaxed and unreserved, you could physically see that he was enjoying himself. Obama even took some personal stabs at himself, joking about he's middle name, and he's "Palling around with terrorists" phoebes.

NYSE Is On An Active Fault Line

The New York Stock Exchange ended in the red today, however it had a record gain for the week. While America struggles to regain ground and instill trust in the housing market, the global markets continue to try and save there declining economies.

Bush released a statement in another attempt to reach out to Americans and reassure the American people that there is light at the end of the tunnel. He had these words of wisdom to share "It took a while for the credit system to freeze up, it's going to take a while for the credit system to thaw," he said, adding that the rescue moves were "big enough and bold enough to work". Well, that's great.....I feel better! You heard it, everything seems under control!

I will say one thing the market will turn around, it is inevitable that it will hit rock bottom. The questions is When? When it does I will be the first one in line to invest... Invest in America!

Dmitry Medvedev Calls For Europe To Form Anti American World Order

Ok so I'm totally late posting this. This speech took place on Oct 8 in Evian, France at the World Policy Conference. In his speech he speaks frankly about the global economy and the role the United States plays in it.

I don't know if I'm the only one who things this is a big deal.........I have not seen a single news outlet talk about this.

This is a must see.....leave your comments!

08" Last Debate

So the last Presidential debate took place. Have to say wasn't nearly as much of a sleeper as the last one, but still lacked the depth that most voters are looking for in the serious economic and global challenges facing us as a Nation.

I think that both candidates held there own. McCain had some very strong points in the debate where he got really tough on Obama and he's policies. Obama was a bit more reserved in my opinion and took the high rode. Which approach is better? It is hard to say!

Just in case you missed the first two, I added the links below.......Do check it out, one of these men will be running "Our" Country.

Couric's Exclusive With Palin

So everyone has been talking about the interview that Palin did with Couric and Palin's inability to answer questions asked by her interviewer. Well, there are some parts where Palin is just at a complete lost for words and seems to have no clue what she is talking about. At the same time the way they are sharing these interviews with the world, makes me wonder. I would be interested to see the full interview. CBS plans to release the interview bit by bit. I'm sure Couric could use the ratings!!

Bush Address The Nation On The Economy

video

Congress is hoping they can come up with some sort of a bi partisan bailout to rescue this falling economy.
